The Terraces
We have created three fantastic outdoor terrace areas which are perfect for enjoying the views whilst drinking and dining al fresco. With plenty of parking and easy access from the A591 at Plumgarths roundabout, The Gateway is a great choice for sunny Lake District days.
Log Fires
In the colder months, there is nothing better than getting cozy next to a warm log fire! We invite you to pull up a chair and relax by one of our homely log fires after a day exploring the Lakes. You've earned it!

Cask ale is a part of the Lake District's rich heritage which we are proud to celebrate. We serve a great range of well maintained local and regional ales on rotation, meaning there is always something new to try.
Our Wine Collection
Our Head Sommelier maintains an exquisite, hand picked range in our wine cellar, suitable for everyone from casual drinkers to connoisseurs. We hold an eclectic mix of new world, old world, vintage and modern tastes. Our collection is all ethically sourced and includes fair trade and organic offerings.
